Description

PPT853.  After Gundersen Pairpoint of New Bedford, Massachusetts closed in 1957, Bryden Pairpoint reopened in October 1957 in East Wareham, Massachusetts.   Although Pairpoint was only open in this location for a period of five months, one of the lines he did was called "Enamelware".  It consists of bits of colored glass, latticinio twists and millefiori canes over a ruby glass.   Since this was made for only a very short time, Enamelware is rare and hard to find.   This is a fine example of this very rare glass.   It is an enamelware pitcher and retains labels from the Green Valley Auction and identifies it as being from the Allen Collection.   6 1/4" tall and in excellent condition.
