Description   Attributed to Degenhart is this paperweight with a white plaque decorated with a cartoon of Jiggs & Maggie.  The comic strip, originally called "Bringing Up Father", is more commonly known as Jiggs & Maggie and ran from 1913 to 2000.   This decoration shows Maggie saying "You Insect" to Jiggs and is titled "Jiggs on the Farm".   The plaque rests on two tiers of colored spatter glass and also has four "ice pick" lilies.   There is considerable wear on the underneath side which indicates to me that this does have considerable age.   Excellent condition.   3 1/2" diameter, 3 1/8" tall.
