HUN1668. 2006 Michael Hunter of Twists Glass Studio mini Clown paperweight. This is a miniature version of Mike Hunter's 21 Clown Salute (see HUN1671). The difference is, of course, the size and the number of clown balloon canes. This version has four clown faces and a signature cane balloon (MH). The design rests on a powdered white on blue ground and is dated in script 2006. 2 1/8" diameter. Michael is a Scottish master glass artist whose career has covered 30 years and is well known for his Venetian glass techniques. Paperweights using these techniques are his newest creations and his career as a paperweight artist is very promising. $180.00 |
